Strengthening the “I Want to Help Refugees” movement

The project is supported by the Society Integration Foundation and its aim is to strengthen the capacity of the association “I Want to Help Refugees” to continue to provide support to beneficiaries of international protection in Latvia. The project includes activities to strengthen the activities of the GPB, to participate in the policy-making process that contributes to the promotion and improvement of the asylum system in Latvia, and to support the involvement of civil society in providing practical and active support to beneficiaries of international protection. GPB’s public awareness and information activities are designed to further promote awareness of and interaction with beneficiaries of international protection in Latvia and to inform the supporters of the organisation about its projects and activities.

Project period: January 2023 – October 2024.

Project funding: EUR 66 000.
