Volunteer coordination to support refugees from Ukraine

The project involving volunteers in the support of refugees of war from Ukraine was implemented with the support of the Society Integration Foundation. The aim of the project was to promote a safe and socially valuable exchange of information on the Facebook group “I want to help refugees”. The group serves as a great platform to effectively keep people up to date with the latest news on assistance for refugees in Latvia. Many people fleeing Ukraine got information about how to get to Latvia directly from the information posted on the group or by communicating with its moderators.
