The project has two main goals:

(1) To provide parents, grandparents, and guardians of Ukrainian children studying in Riga educational institutions with opportunities to learn and practice the Latvian language in informal settings (such as classes and events). This initiative aims to promote their inclusion in the local society and labor market while supporting their ability to help their children integrate better into the learning environment. Alongside activities for parents, informal activities for children are also planned.

(2) To promote informal Latvian language learning activities, including online language clubs led by Riga residents and attended by Ukrainian civilians.

The project runs from July 15 to November 15, 2024.

Total funding: EUR 8,499.68, co-financed by the European Union Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
