
We offer a dynamic and responsible job as a project manager, implementing outreach and inclusion activities for Ukrainian refugees in Latvia. The vacancy is for a fixed period, renewable thereafter.
Your responsibilities will include:
– Lead a project supported by the Public Integration Fund to provide information and integration support to Ukrainian civilians in Latvia.
– Implement online campaigns with the head of the NGO Information Centre and other outreach activities.
– Implement support activities and develop information materials for leaders of Ukrainian refugee communities in Latvia.
– Cooperate with other NGOs, national and local authorities and other stakeholders.
We wish you had:
– Higher education.
– Experience in project management or implementation.
– Willingness to take initiative and work in a dynamic environment.
– High organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
– Very good knowledge of Latvian and Ukrainian and/or Russian, as well as good knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages may be an advantage.
– Experience in communication, e.g. designing information materials, maintaining social networks, organising events.
– Awareness of migration and Latvia’s internal political processes, as well as NGO governance issues.
– Understanding and supporting the mission and values of the Society.
