“The Living (Skill) Library”
The aim of the project is to promote the inclusion of Ukrainian civilians and the advancement of an intercultural dialogue in Latvian society by organising activities to exchange traditions between Ukrainian civilians and other residents of Riga. The groups involved will have the opportunity to meet and to get to know each other in an informal atmosphere. The Ukrainian civilians will have the opportunity to learn about the local culture and traditions, to practise and strengthen their Latvian language, to acquire new skills, while other residents of Riga will have the opportunity to hear the stories of the Ukrainian civilians, learn about their traditions and culture through hands-on activities.
The project is funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union.
Project period: December 2023 – March 2024.
Project funding: EUR 7500.
