The project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Programme “Active Citizens Fund”. It aims to protect the rights of beneficiaries of international protection and to raise awareness of human rights within the local society in Latvia. The project consists of four interrelated activities.

The main goal of the project implemented in cooperation with the “Julia Taft Refugee Fund” was to provide refugee families with housing for six months, paying their rent and utilities, so that the families can learn Latvian and start looking for jobs, thus facilitating their integration into Latvian society.
